CompareVerse ("we," "us") operates this website. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled. We've written it to describe what this site actually does — not a generic template.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to us via a third-party form service, FormSubmit. We use this only to respond to you.

Outbound link clicks. When you click a product link, you're routed through our own redirect (/api/track) on the way to the retailer. We log the product clicked, the merchant, a timestamp, and the referring page — this is used only to understand which products get clicked, not to identify individual visitors. We don't attach this to your name or contact details.

Standard server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically logs standard technical request data (such as IP address) as part of operating the site, independent of anything we add. This is covered by Vercel's own privacy policy, not something we separately collect or store.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we don't use cookies of our own. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it before it happens.

Amazon Associates and other affiliate links

CompareVerse participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may join other affiliate programs over time. When you click through to a retailer, that retailer's own tracking (including any cookies they set) applies once you're on their site — that's governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We only control what happens up to the point you leave CompareVerse.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information to anyone.
• We don't collect payment information — all purchases happen on the retailer's own site.
• We don't require an account or login to browse the site.

Third parties we use

• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions
• FormSubmit — delivers contact form submissions to us by email
• Amazon Associates (and other affiliate networks as we join them) — product links and commission tracking

Your choices

You can browse and use this site without submitting the contact form. If you've contacted us and want your message deleted, email us and we'll remove it from our records.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
